Nashville's Transit Plan: It's up to us to decide?
April 11, 2018
Click here to find out views about the Nashville transit referendum. Will the plan be approved or will the plan be unapproved? The answer to this question should be left to the voters. Once Nashville’s transit referendum is approved, expanded bus service and light rail is approved throughout the city. But there’s more uncertainty about the city’s next steps if the referendum fails on May 1.
Keep these questions in mind when voting for the transit plan.
How many residents will be using this transit for transportation from their homes to their destinations?
Will this plan reduce the number of drivers on the roads? Or will the residents remain using their current means of transportation?
How will residents be affected when this plan is voted in?
Will some residents be removed from their homes during the transit construction?
